SO! I am super super duper excited for the opportunity to receive 50 free SHUTTERFLY holiday cards!!!! AS the wedding is quickly approaching (11 days) we dont have that much spare time for holiday cards! I would love to come up with a quick something we can send out right before we leave for Mexico! I was leaning on using one o four engagement pics! What do ya think?? I know it will make me very happy to receive this right after they attend our wedding! It will look very pretty and they will think we spent hours working on them! Ohhhh me! :) So excited just thinking about it! Let me know if ya'll have some more ideas! We are also thinking about including our yorkie russell on the holiday card! He is apart of our family, and anyone close to us knows this! Maybe if we dont use an engagement pic, we can take a new Christmas picture in front of our new fireplace/ adorable stockings! Russie has one too!!! Well i must go now, I need to do my holiday cards!!!!!

life changes..

hello to all :) as i was taking my amazingly wonderful bubble bath tonight, i started thinking about where all I have been in the past year and where i am now. It is truly amazing how you think you have it all figured out, and then BOOM God shows you no no it is not in our hands, its in His. When I was a senior in high school, I was so pumped because I just knew i had a plan. The "plan" was to work my butt off for a year and hopefully get accepted into the extremely HARD radiology program and be done in two quick years! WELL.... I did get accepted into the radiology program, in which I was very happy and proud of myself. I was in the program for about a year, when i realized there was no way i wanted to do x-rays everyday for the rest of my life. And let me tell you, that was by far the hardest week of my life. I worked so so hard to get to that point, was making good grades, made some amazing friends, and was getting married in 7 months. BUT.... i knew without a doubt i just did not like it.... Some people said.. Oh just get that degree under your belt then you can goto school for what you really want to do. Oh but I know myself. I would have graduated, and I would be doing x-rays forever, because i hate school, and i would feel like well i have a degree why not use it? Anyway, No one wanted me to quit. People begged and begged for me to stick with it. But I really prayed more then i have ever prayed in my life. And cried. A lot of tears were shed that week. I prayed that I would have complete peace with whatever decision I made. And let me tell you, I am a people pleaser, I absolutely hate letting people down, espically the ones who love me the most. I decided to put all of those people aside and make a decision for myself. And Wow am i glad I did? Now i have the most perfect job EVER! A Full-time Office secretary/Nanny. I mean I have the best boss. EVER. And eventually I will be the office manager. I mean it is exactly what I love to do. I am so thankful for everything I have been blessed with. Kyle and I are so pleased at where we are at! He will be going back to school next year, we get the key to our towne home this weekend, and we are getting married in under 4 weeks. Holy Cow. Holy Cow. I am sooooooooooo pumped. We ha ve been blessed beyond anything we could ever imagine.

I can hardly believe its almost September!! Oh how I love fall time! Such a beautiful season! Perfect weather, pumpkins, apple picking, spiced candles, chilli, pumpkin lattes from starbucks, ahhhhhhhh :) i love it. end of story. Not to mention, it means closer to the WEDDING! yay yay yay!! I am getting super duper nervous! You would think all of the planning, organizing, and stressing is what is making me nervous, but actually its not! I keep thinking of the moment when those doors open and I see Kyle. And when he sees me for the first time. I am kind of worried my knees are going to buckle and i am just going to fall to the ground cause im just so darn happy. Oh me. Lets just pray that does exactly happen!
We've been preparing for the future! Kyle has been working really hard sanding and staining furniture for our apartment! He's doing such a good job, gah he is amazing.

new beginnings

WOW. Where do I ever start? In the past 6 months, my life has been a rollar coaster for sure! I decided Radiology was completely not for me at all. This is a decision I really really prayed, cried, and struggled with for a couple of weeks. I know there is something out there for me, and I cannot wait to see what God has planned for me. Cause I know it's BIG!! I started my full time job this past monday! Talk about TIRED! I am a teachers aide between 4 different two year old rooms! I love love love them, but talk about ENERGY! Goodness!

On another note, Wedding planning is going GREAT!!! ALmost 4 MONTHS until the day! wooot!! I am so thankful for my Mom, family, and amazing amazing friends. I really have learned so so much about myself and people around me in the past few months. God has taught me so much and really has brought me to my knees. I am so thankful for what He's done in my life and I give Him all the glory! I have learned to not let people walk all over me and to stand up for myself for once! I have also grown A LOT closer to God through this long journey thats not even over. I have learned to completely lean and rely on Him through every possible situation. I have learned to give all my troubles and problems to Him and He will bring me through! Thank you Jesus for saving me!!!

I am so thankful for each person in my life!

ohh my first blog post.. what shall i write. I have been so busy with school and wedding planning! I am so excited my mom and I are staying organized and have plenty of time to plan! We are def. planners! We have went to 2 festivals so far and collected tons of information!!

I also got a really neat idea to make Kyle a gift! I made him a little container of 365 reasons i want to be your wife. I gave it to him exactly 1 year to the day, and he picks one out everyday! :) YAY!!

Ashley ( my wonderful sister ) and I decided to get a little crafty and ask each one of bridesmaids to be in my wedding in a special way. I found a really sweet idea online and we made our own version of it. My sister really was AWESOME! They are adorable little ppl all stuck together by their feet and hands. They all have the names of my bridesmaids on them, as well as matching hair color! sooo cute! One of the most exciting days of my life! DRESSES!!! And I found it on the very first day, the very first store! WOOHOO!we are def. having a photobooth at the wedding. we are a unique couple. My mom and I tried it out a few times. Too much fun! AND last but NOT least...... the blinggggg!!!!!!!
